I recently bought a 65 elky with 7" rallies and want to go with a wider wheel tire combo can someone give me:beers: a proven size without rubbing? Thanks

I had 15x8 Rally wheels with 4-1/2" back spacing on my 65 Elky and now have 17x9.5 Fikse Profil 5S wheels with 5.625" back spacing. Some pics in my sig.

That Elky looks alot like mine, I was going to repaint it again but there's allready 4 i town including mine! Those wheels really look nice! Interested in selling the eights?

Shouldn't have a problem with an 8 inch wheel and 225/60's on the rear. I'd stick with the 7 inchers and a narrower tire on the front.
