I have a set of camel hump heads w/ 186 casting number.According to www.mortec.com (http://www.mortec.com) these are off a 69-70 Camaro. They come w/ accessory holes. My question is,What kind of motor could I build for a daily driver with an occasional run down the strip? These are 64cc heads. Thanks guys! graemlins/beers.gif

What kind of motor could I buildA small block

Most any motor with CID and pistons such that a reasonable CR was produced with those chambers, and a cam that matches their flow characteristics.

They came from the factory on 302s and 350s. I've run them on those, plus 283s, 327s, and 400s; with good success.

Thsy are about ideal for a moderate street 350 with flat-top pistons and a zero-decked block. With an appropriate cam (225° intake, 6-10° more exhaust, .500ish lift) you can expect 350-360 HP easily; more if you do a first-rate port job on them.
