I am in the process of machining screw in studs for my vortec heads so I can run better springs and rockers. I recognize that I have to cut the rocker arm stud boss 3/8 of an inch. My question is:
Does anyone know what angle the stud boss is? If I knew the angle, some trig would tell me exactly the size of spacer needed to make the stud boss 90 degrees from the table. Gee, if you could tell me what thickness spacer to use that would work too. Maybe someone has a link to some detailed instructions. Not too worry, I will be doing the machining with a friends bridgeport. I am pretty sure we could eyeball it but he is a bit of a fuddy-duddy and would sleep better if he knew the angle or the spacer thickness.
I have looked all over the WWW and could not come up with the specifications. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Please email to jpearson-147@comcast.net
THANK YOU!
