I have a 69 malibu, 2dr coupe. When I bought it, it came with a brand new front bumper. The problem is, it was in the car. As I line it up, there seems to be a bracket or something missing. It doesn't match up with anything. Anyone with ideas, or pics of the front end ready to accept a bumper? Obviously, I'm still learning a lot about this, my first car.

Could be one or more issues here: Is the bumper correct for the car...you never know. Has frame been "tweaked" and not straightened correctly? Do you have all the right brackets...two for each side...one larger than the other and they are side-specific. Sorry I can't give you any pics but do you have, or can you get, an assembly manual? It will have just what you need plus tons more info. for your car. Definitely a must-have and available from any of the resto. houses including our site sponsor, Ground Up. Good luck and I hope you get it fixed. Another '69 is ALWAYS a good thing!
