i have heard many good things about both. which do you prefer? mobil 1 or amsoil?

I use to road race a lot and have to say Mobil 1 is by far the best. i have tried all the others and they still don't compare and it's also been time proven (especially with me) i sold a crotch rocket that had 48k miles on it, which is like 300k miles on a car, and you could still pull the valve cover and it looked like new no sludge,burnt oil, nada just looked like an engine with 100 miles on it. i use it in all my cars (can race anymore i have a little girl to think about) and it is still the best i think and i've been using it for approx 10 years jk 260 Aug 21st, 99, 1:22 PM I put my vote in for Mobil 1 also.Amsoil is way too expensive!!! ------------------ Dean Ciampi Autumn Gold 1970 LS6 Chevelle Team Chevelle Gold #52 Aces #3094 67RAT Aug 21st, 99, 5:58 PM yep,mobil 1,the best!67rat member #199 elcamino Aug 22nd, 99, 5:17 AM I have used AMOIL in everthing I own since 1977.
