I found a 65 convert, ss clone, ac, stereo w cd, 350 vortec, hd turbo 350 trans, power steering, power disc brakes in front, power top, 15 inch rims and tires. The car and myself are in California, which seems to jack the price a little. it looks to be in pretty good shape and the guy wants $25k. to me that sounds pretty good. any thoughts??

Looks like a very nice car. I happen to have a soft spot in my heart for the 65, as I had an SS 4 speed car my senior year of HS and I miss it terribly, even thirty years later.

There is a couple of issues with the piaint, but mothing that looks major. If you are going to look at it in person, I would suggest putting up in the air and having a good old look underneath. Also, look closely at all the usual Chevelle cancer spots. Chances are, that it's clean due it's location as long as it didn't come from somewhere wet and salty :)

where would the cancer spots be? I am guessin trunk and floor?

Trunk, Floor's, The deck that runs accross at the base of the rear window (Climb in the trunk and lay on your back with a flashlight) The bottom of each quarter pannel. These are all very typical areas.
