A local website rented Lebanon Valley yesterday, and i figured id bring my daily driver to see what i could pull outta her.Heres the results....

R/T---.039
60'---1.987
330'--5.366
1/8---8.013
MPH---97.65
1000'-10.291
1/4---12.136
MPH---125.68 (not a typo :D )

These runs were done on 245 Nitto DRs (if i put on the ET streets from the 'velle, i had a very good chance of not driving the car home...lol) not too bad for a 16 year old import with an inline 6, a decent sized snail and a bit more fuel, all while getting 20 mpg on the highway. Just wanted to see what you guys would think smile.gif

BTW, a 1.98 60ft is pretty damn good for these 5sp, IRS, easily breakable drivetrains ;)

Certainly has the Turbo charged MPH.

So what is the car? I'm guessing a 240Z.

How much boost? And do you drive around on the street with that much power on tap? Becuase if you didn't, that wouldn't make it your actuall street car performance now would it? ;) :D

Its a supra smile.gif

I was running 25 psi at the track...i only run about 15 on the street with the crappy 93 we got here now....ive dynoed it before at 17psi, and it put down 439whp, and 406wtq.

Is that still the more rounded body style? I guess so since you said Targa top. I didn't know those where around in the 80s. I just thoguht it was the boxier "delorian looking" ones with the crappy head gaskets.

Either way, it's still a dyno queen! tongue.gif

Im impressed! How much does a Supra cost anyways? Someday I am going to do this to my Nova, http://community.webshots.com/photo/85194855/137204261zwwSjs Whats it like driving a twin turbo'd car? How do you get up to 125mph but not run in the low 10's? For nothing more then a tire change, and some high octane for more boost, that is one bad daily driver you have there! Sounds like thats about max for a Supra drivetrain

RM- it was Thepike.net

BB Mike, it is the boxier kind...not the rounded newer ones...with the crappy headgasjets..lol, and yes it is a dyno queen as my timeslip proves smile.gif

19nova72, its a single turbo car. the mk3's (86-92) never came with twins in the states. And the drivetrain will support much more, as my best friends have 674whp and 672whp respectively on stock drivetrains....ita all abotu easing it off the line, which accounts for the horrible 60fts, and therefore higher ETs and bigger MPH. Alot of people sleep on the older supras, but they are a great base for a fun, great handling, powerful street car. Its also fun to say that this is my slow car :D

Excellent numbers, no offense taken here & I'm taking nothing away from the fact it is a damn fast street car, but,,,,

I don't want to be the one to burst your friends bubble but unless his car weighs about 4500 lbs it ain't makin 935 rwhp if he is runnin it all the way trough the traps :D
I'd say closer to 750-800 engine hp assuming about 3500lbs which equates to about 640-680 rwhp

I would have guessed about 600 engine hp for Bryan's at 3800lbs which would have been about 480-500 rwhp
These are estimates but will come pretty close to honest numbers. ;)

People have been known to get a bit "overzelous" with dyno numbers but the track doesn't lie ;)
It takes a certain amount of HP to accelerate a certain amount of weight to a certain MPH.
Always has,,, always will :D

i watched the dyno. it was 935 WHP and about 840 wtq, his 10.6 run was with a 1.89 '60. hes trapping at about 110 in the eighth so the thing really comes alive after about 330'. next time he goes out he will be launching off a 2 step set at 5500 rpm so that he can build boost off the line. low 10s really should be that hard. btw this is a fully optioned '94 toyota supra that wieghts about 4000 lbs now with the cage and without the driver.
