as some of you know i have been tinkering with my street car.

it has a 414 bbc and runs darn hard on the top end. i have tweaked the carb and timming (fine tunning everything)from 102 mph to 107 mph + that it is now.

i have decided to build my 2004r tranny to swap in and add a 2800 stall.

im also going to replace the 2.73 posi with a set of 4.10 gears which will provide about the same rpm im turning now down the road at 70 mph.

im also thinking of putting in a roller cam into this engine to gain a few more ponies.

which roller do you all think might work with this set up.

compression is 10.5
ported oval heads "390 casting
balanced bottom end.
rpm intake
modified 3310 holley
msd.hei ignition
roller tip rockers 1.72 ratio
current cam delta cams regrind 233/239 @.050 with 547/551 lift 111 lobe centers
13-14" of idle vacuum from the help of rhoads lifters.
car weights in at 3900 lbs and at the moment shifting at 6500 rpms for best performance on the track.

in street trim (radial 245/60-15 tires and full exhaust 2 1/2" pipes to full boar mufflers w/2 1/4" tail pipes out the rear).

on 87 octane fuel.

my friends tell me to leave the car alone and finish up my drag car but im having to much fun with my street car....lol
