Is there a place to mount your coil like on a stocker or a Airgap. I would really like to put my coil back where it belongs but I really need this intake!

Yes, the Victor jr has the coil mount bosses.

I'm curious to know your combination and why you THINK you NEED this single plane intake?

496ci,with Eagle rotating assembly, AFR 305 heads, Manley Valve Srings, Comp Cam W/252/256 @.050 and .714 lift(custom grind), and to many others to list. Tony @ AFR selected all of the components for the top end of my combo. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

What kind of compression? What's the intended usage of this engine? What's the expected power band?

I'm still not convinced a Vic jr will out perform a good dual plane for his application.

And yes, I do run a Vic jr with very good results...

Hey Todd,,,the guy that built my engine guarantees that mine would be quicker with a vic jr, so much that he will buy it back if it is not quicker,,,,thats a hard deal to pass up. He builds race engines though, not street motors. I might take him up on it though.

My 11.40 468 combination was quicker with an RPM intake with a 1" open spacer than it was with the Vic Jr. and an RPM without the spacer.

My engine specs were a little milder than 396-375.

most times a tough call in this performance range.

I run a Vic jr. on my 540 254/260 @ 0.050 with .660/.666 lift, 10.2:1. 6000 RPM max.
Haven't tried the RPM on it though. My gut says it wouldn't be quicker, but might be worth a test.
