i already have a set of arp 2-bolt main studs and would like to try a 2-bolt main cap girdle to save machining costs instead of the much-touted splayed 2-to-4 bolt main cap conversion.i could only find the main girdle at flatlander racing (thanks for the referral).does anyone here run a main girdle on a 2-bolt or know anyone who does?i want to hear some success stories before i commit.i'm hoping for 575 horsepower from my 385 stroker combo and am considering a 1/2 block fill to strengthen the block and get better ring seal and less ring wear.i've put so much prep in my 2-bolt block i don't want to drop it for a 4-bolt.thanks for any comments.
