A friend of mine has a pair of 305(possibly 307) heads and I was wondering about how much I'd gain on compression and horsepower if I got them and put them on my 350(its running 10.5 to 1 compression and is putting out over 400 horses). Thanks.

the chambers are 58cc i believe so your going to gain more compression than you can probably use on pump gas and have tiny valves so your not going to get squat for flow. I wouldnt bother. Put the money into savings for some good aftermarket heads, thats where to power is at. Also where did you get your +400hp figure? Just curious.

I don't know what the casting numbers are. My friend told me that he had some work done on the heads and made them have bigger ports(I don't know if that makes a difference). You ask how I figured 400+ horses, well lets just say I have had some work done to it :D . Thanks for your replies graemlins/beers.gif .
