The underside is as clean as the upper. auto on column. Is it worth 31k http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/olddog_photos/70dodge30229.jpg

Documented numbers matching, that is ABSOLUTELY worth $31k. But I'd still try to get them to come down a bit anyway. ;)

Might want to search for a dodge forum so you can be more knowledgeable about it's authenticity.

That is definitely worth the 31k. I checked NADA to verify and it is worth it.

I would be very careful checking the Fender Tag for originality and decode it.
Also check the paperwork and try to make sure it is original. I think Mopars have #s on the radiator support and somewhere else to verify. Check the engine, trans and rear.

Sounds like a good deal...but usually good deals are not what they appear to be.

oldtimebaseballfan, I have decoded the tag and it checks out with the car. I have a mopar person that is a up on all the details that is going to check it out with me. I know where to check for the vin on the motor and tranny. It will be all checked out before I go myself to look at it in person. If it all checks out I'm going to buy it.

A buddy of mine recently sold a nice B5 blue '69 Bee on e bay for $25k. Matching #'s 383, 4 sp. Car was nice enough to take home hardware in small shows. I can't see the pics posted here (computer security settings, I guess), but I'm not sure that $31k is a "can't pass it up deal."

Just my $.02.

i disagree

31k is a lot of money - the market is softening a little

for 31k, i wouldn't want a bench car with column shift

also, the colors suck

the above listed '69 bee with the 4spd sounds like a much better buy

Ah they aren't worth much, local guy just traded a fully restored 70 for a rusted out 70 Cuda with the funny engine that has the valve cover sparkplugs. Said he should be done in 2 years with resto.

I could have bought the car for $15k, but passed it along to my buddy. I was in the middle of moving from Va to Tx. It was a decent deal at $25k, but it was an absolute steal at $15k.

Funny engine that has the valve cover sparkplugs... being sarcastic....if not...

a 70 Hemi-Cuda Rusted would be worth more than a restored 70 S/B, in my opinion.

I don't think that's merely an opinion

if someone traded a hemicuda for a superbee - however nice...i'd question his sanity
