am using a holley blue, had it quit today after 10-15 minutes of running. the pump just quit running/turning. after it cooled down (it was hot to the touch) it started working again fine.

any ideas?

is a regulator with a return line that much better? are holley blue's known for running hot and/or quitting?

Had my Holley blue pump quit once... just whacked it with a screwdriver and it started back up and hasnt been a problem since. How many miles/hours do you have on it? Maybe its due for a rebuild.

only have about 3hrs run time on it and i tried whacking it but it didn't help, has holley really gotten this bad with quality? this is the first electric fuel pump (non factory) that i have tried, no wonder i stuck with mechancals for so long.
