Does anyone have a good source for idle air bleed jets? I have so far only found two options, purchase the jets in packs of 10 for around 12 bucks per pack or the entire jet kit which has four of everything for around 140.00!!! I know I may need a few diff sizes but 140.00 bucks seems to be rather extreme considering I will only use a couple diff sizes once I get the carb dialed in. I am still having probs with the 950HP running real rich at idle....damn thing wants to load the plugs up if it idles too long but damn that carb is crisp.
Thanks

But a pack of 10 in a size smaller than you need and drill them out. If you drill too far, go back to a smaller one.

I wasn't sure if drilling them was an option due to the small sizes and the need to be accurate.
Thanks for the heads up.

air bleeds are not like fuel jets - you can drill them. Get some blanks and some finger drills and you are all set.
I got mine from www.pro-system.com. (http://www.pro-system.com.)

I run the 950hp and tried to richen mixture cause at sea level but where I live humidity over 80-over 90% most of the time so air extremely dense. So went right back to 78 squared like came from factory. Plugs running ever so slightly on lean side so would one size smaller air bleed help ya think?! :D

A friend of mine tunes these by soldering and redrilling. Or you could just reduce the fuel orifice slightly with a strand of stainless wire or epoxy and a redrill. Crack open the secondary throttle blades a hair more for more air maybe-sometimes it is all that's needed. I worked on an old 780 awhile back that had adjustment screws near the airbleeds-sure wish the new carbs had this.
