ok pops is out of town this weekend and i have to watch the shop. but the question is do i put hardened exhaust seats in my 291 LS6 heads so the exhaust valves dont ruin them. no lead in the gas and they are soft seats. do you think that will hurt the value of my car.:confused:

If it were mine, I'd do it. But I'd spend some time finding a qualified shop before I let anyone touch them - if it were from a numbers -matching engine.

i am gonna do them myself. i only trust my dad and myself. one time i had the block cleaned up and line honed for new main bolts and when i went to pick up the block, they try'd to give me a 2 bolt in its place and i just about flipped, i found mine in there shop by the back door, numbers matching, never the less i told the guy he had only two choices and pain involved both.:D
