jloshotz Apr 26th, 07, 10:24 PM Could anyone post a pic of where the lower fender braces bolt up on a 70? The braces in question are the ones that bolt up near the fender marker light. I'm pretty sure they go up to the inner fenderwell middle bolt at the firewall, but my memory fleets me; it's been a while. Any help would be appreciated! I just looked the left side goes just behind the turn sig. wires, Rt. side almost under the batt. box. I "think" they may mate up to one of the inner fenderwell front bolts where it meets the rad support (if that makes any sense) Just want to make sure, it's been awhile....lol 70chevelle.ss396 Apr 28th, 07, 12:02 PM It is the third bolt over on the inner fender. Keith Tedford Apr 29th, 07, 5:08 AM I just installed them on our '69 yesterday. Loosely run the bolt through the fender lip and into the threaded end of the brace. The other end will line up with the obvious bolt hole that it needs to be bolted to. Well the picture shows it going through the front bumper filler and into the wheel inner fender.(on the drivers side) Like was said before it will line up after you screw the bottom bolt into the rod and rotate it around to the location that I showed. | ||
