Anyone know anything about this car? Looks like a scam -- $14,900 is the "asking price" with an opening bid of $50k to discourage the non-serious buyer?

The car looks very nicely done and I'm sure you couldn't build it for that price, with or without paper it looks good to me for that number!!!! Sold!!!!:thumbsup:

You're in colorado, go look at it. I doubt thats the real price of it. You can barely get a rust bucket vert for that price anymore.

P.S. I'd buy that car for 50K, sad part is their probably looking for 90K.:cool:

You have to watch those ebay scams there was a blue LS6 conv on there for BIN 9500 listed time after time under different listers same car last time I seen it it had a BIN 115,000.00 same car again send 30,000 g after auction is completed anybody that does that is going to be sorry

0 transactions on ebay but they state they have had some transactions that people seemed to think were a joke. Something doesn't add up.

Also, why would they say they are asking 14,900. but the only bid is 50k.

It's a scam. The seller has another car listed with the same description with broken English. "I pay for sell the car and people think the biding is a joke. other mechanical problems. It has a clear title and it will be signed and

Yes I'm still interterested for the car. How about instead of your asking price of $23800 I just give you my bid price of $60,000 in cash when I come pick the car up. While I'm there you can tell me how you restored the car to flawless condition. I can't seem to build one for $23800 so I would really feel bad only paying that amount for it.
Let me know when I can meet you to pick the car up.

The price is considerably lower then others on the market because i need to sell it really fast. The vehicle was never crashed, abused or raced. i always garaged it and serviced it, kept very good care of it!. The vehicle is currently located in Monument CO but unfortunately i am in Miami FL, planning to open a business here and i do not think i can come sooner then next month. However i can arrange for the paperworks from here and i can talk to a shipping company to deliver the vehicle to your address. i think it is impossible to buy a vehicle without having an inspection first. So i had a look on Ebay and i saw they could help us with this. Since the transaction worths a lot of money they have suggested to make the deal only through Ebay so that we will not have any problems. Regarding the payment i am aware of the buyer's protection and we will use Ebay's motors vehicle purchase protection program which will hold the payment until you receive the car. By making a deposit you are not buying the car, is just the way the program works( and in case you buy the car it will give you a 1 month 1000 miles guarantee). However, it is 100 refundable if the car is not as described.

SO I emailed him back said unless I can have the car inspected I cannot buy it, too many scams. If you are on the up and up this should be no problem, just supply an address where the car can be viewed and I will arrange for my in-laws to come see it. I cannot buy a car without first having it inspected.
