What's the difference in length? Is it 1 3/4"? I'm thinking that I'm going to need a long rod to go with the new Corvette MC. Anybody know where they sell them?

I'm thinking I'm gonna measure the free play of the short rod, and weld on that amount minus alittle, and then take it up with the threaded adjustment.

dang, if only i was still in the middle of my conversion.....we could have just swapped rods in the mail !!....i had to cut mine to short....i can't remember for sure, but i think it was 4''....had to cut it to 2 1/2''

So far I've found two measurements 4" and 2 5/8ths". Been pounding the search function all nite, I'm just gonna weld mine up.

if yours is too short, go buy a grade 8 bolt that is longer than you need, and cut it down to fit.
