It said it was a 71-72 Big Block Sending Unit but the top plate is too big to fit on the tank. What is the diameter of the top plate on your sender? I just bought a GM replacement part from Ground Up and it measures 2 3/8 inches across. I haven't dropped my tank yet, so I hope it fits.
