Which one would work better? The 1017-14 has a larger bore. I can't remember what .030 over is but these head gaskets (1017-1) are 4.540" The 1037's are a little smaller.

Stock 454 bore is 4.25 and 30 over would make it 4.28 so the 1037 is what you need.

Depends on the size/shape of the chamber you're running. Many aftermarket heads have a wider chamber and will not work with the smaller bore gasket.

What motor and heads do you have?

Its an 89 or 90 block with 390 heads, .030 over probably around 10-10.5:1
A couple guys said to use the 1017-1's which is what I bought, I havent used them yet though.

I believe you need the 1037 the one you have are for a 4.540 bore witch is a 502... graemlins/waving.gif
