2 questions, I have a 67 chevelle malibu.

What is the size of the bolt that holds the parking brake pedal assembly inside under the dash?

The front parking brake cable runs through the frame, how do you remove it from the the point it passes through the frame?

1/2-20 I believe.

If you look on the innerside of the frame, you'll see where it comes through the frame. You need to pull that clip off of the cable, then pull it through the frame so it is hanging straight down off of the firewall. Then go inside of the car, and unhook it from the e-brake mechanism. You'll see how it is "frayed" to hold itself to the floor, you need to slip a 7/16th box wrench over that to compress it, and slip it back down its hole.

At least that's pretty much how I remember it.

Thanks Dave, I already have the cable disconnected from the brake pedal and out of the firewall. I will look closer at the frame connection for the clip you referred to. Paul
