If it is for your Chevelle....and its the one with original paint....you are out of luck. If it is for a late model car, I can help you find someone.

Yes and yes. I am sure there is somone around here I just have to find them. With summer right around the corner and the cruise nights starting I may just start asking around there.

No...I mean you are out of luck, you CANNOT push on lacquer paint. No matter how hot you get it, with a heat gun or whatever. If someone says they can do it, they would be lying to you, it will break.

Most PDR guys I've met can't really work old car sheetmetal because its heavier metal and not flimsy like new cars

Thanks for the input guys. The paint issue makes sense but as far as the heavier gauge metal I had heard the dent removal guys like it. From what I have been told they can "lean" on it a little more. I am going to a couple of car shows and cruises in the next couple of weeks and will see what some of the locals have done for dents. With my paint being an issue it sounds like I am SOL!
