I just did a drum to disc conversion on a67 SS 396,everything is working fine except when i hook the rod to the peddel on the bottom hole or the top one it will not make contact with the stop light switch,so my brake lights stay on.The rod is fine threadbut ican't find a fine threaded coupler to make it about a inch or so longer. The booster is new 11 inch from NAPA and is for a 67 Chevelle. If i remember right the pedal on power disc was lower. Does any body know what i'm doing wrong or had this problem. Thanks for any help i can get Dirks SS Conv

I had this same problem, but was able to adjust my brake light switch just enough to make contact and turn off the light.

Jeff, you care to allaborate or find a pic of one? I'm having similar issues with my 69 converted to disc. I'm much further than one inch  but dont remember seeing anything about a "bumper" type spacer on the pedal?
