So I'm sitting in a Customer's office yesterday in Chicago. Since it's the first time we've ever met, we're BS'ing about this and that and everything and just generally getting aquainted. Subject of hobbies comes up and of course I start telling about my Vette. He is telling me about old Harleys and mentions that a co-worker has a killer big block Chevelle that he has been racing. Of course that gets my attention and he gets on the phone and asks the Chevelle owner to step down the hall.

We have the magazines out on the desk with my car in them (of course I carry at all times right?) and in walks Chris and in about 3 seconds he's asking if I ever post on any Forums. When I mention this place he immediately puts it all together and recognizes the car and then the 540Hotrod part.

So our benchracing moved into high gear and I don't think any of us got anything else done, other than get to spend some time with some *old friends* we just hadn't met yet! BTW- Chris' Chevelle is SWEEEETTTT!!! But I think I see more HP in his future!!

So pay attention out there...you never know who might be a Team Chevelle member. I've met several around the country and it's always been great. Even went to get a sandwich once with Harold Sutton in Ok when I was passing through.

It's a great big little world!!

Same here...I was thrashing at the hotel all night catching up...but it was worth it!
