: What headers are ya's runnin'
Walker Jun 22nd, 00, 8:14 PM I'm in the market for a set of headers. I currently have a 350 with stock manifolds, out through a pair of Flowmasters. I love the deep, guttural growl and want to emphasize it. I also want to stay away from the "hollow" sounding types. What headers are you ladies and gents running on your Chevelles? How does it sound? Lets hear it Team Chevelle!!!

Gene Chas Jun 23rd, 00, 6:06 AM Hooker Comps, from JetHot. For a mild SBC, I'd opt for the Dynmomax coated headers from Summit, about $215. Use 1 5/8 tubes, not 1 3/4.

One thing I WILL be doing is to install a X-over tube to balance out the "BRrraaapp" sound it makes when I back out of it at higher rpm's

It sounds great.
coker1967@hotmail.com Jun 29th, 00, 2:41 PM Hooker Comps, though they rub real good on the steering. Heard super comps should heal that though, more set up for specific applications.
