well i finally recieved my hotchkis extreme sway bar set the other day and was very eager to put them on today after work. i ran into a hell of a speed bump though. i have waited to buy my sway bars so that i could get hotchkis' new extreme rear bar. what they fail to mention in anything that i have read is that in the directions (believe it or not i read them ;) )one of the first things it says is that this bar will not work with stock control arms due to clearance problems. i was going to just notch the side of my factory rear lower trailing arms for whatever clearance i needed but realized the hotchkis lowers also apparently have holes in different locations than my stockers. if anyone else is thinking of buying this bar beware of this fact that i only came to realize after i have purchased the bar. i still plan to use this bar even if i have to purchase the hotchkis control arms set, but i am hoping to still make my factory arms work since i have already boxed them and installed eurythane bushings throughout. does anyone have the hotchkis control arms set on their car that would be willing to tell me where exactly i need to drill the holes in my control arms so that i may use my new sway bar?
