Hi, I have been on the hunt for a holley 950 hp to see if I gain anything by replacing my 750DP and help with my inconsistent idle and came a cross what appears to be a real good deal on a used (one season) Davinci 950 HP series IV.
I am getting it for 400.00 shipped to my door. Has anyone had any experience with Davinci carbs? Also do you know if these are modified holley HP series carbs with extra flow work/calibration or are they using Proform parts? I can't seem to access their website tonight and would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,

DaVinci is top-line Comp Eliminator stuff. Lots of fast Comp guys swear by him. I don't know anyone running their street/bracket carbs, though.

Chris,
Don't know how good one would be with your combination. If it didn't work out I'm sure you could ship it to them to make the appropriate mods for your application.

There may be a good reason why the carb is for sale. DaVinci slowed down both cars I put their carbs on.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It may be a little on the big side for my combo but I ended up buying the carb. I figured for the price I am getting it for I could afford to try it out and resell if I don't show improvement over my 750DP.
The prev owner went to EFI on a Victor intake and says he is still trying to tune it in to the responsiveness he had with the DaVinci.
I hope to do a back to back test at the track next weekend. The car has been pretty consistent 12.00 - 12.05 last couple of weeks and I don't plan on changing anything other than the carb at this point.
Good luck and keep enjoying this strange weather we have smile.gif
