Hi Everyone,

I recently replaced the front and rear coil springs and shocks. I noticed that the body is leaning in the back passenger side by 1/2 inch. It doesn't look like the bumper is tilted by 1/2. Just wondering if anyone else has run across this and when you might have found? The front is perfect.

Thanks.
Frank

Is the car on level ground? Uneven ground can oddly toss the body to one side. Are the springs set in the perches correctly? Did you put in the rubber cushion on both sides?

Tim.

Hello Tim,

Yeah the car is level. Even on a lift the car looks like it is sagging lower on the pass side. I was careful when installing the springs and the cushions are installed. So I am at a loss?

Frank. When you say "even on a lift". Do you mean a chassis lift?
If so, Check too bake sure you don't have a bad body mount or two. That would cause your body to sit cockeyed on the frame.

Hi Scott,

Yes a chassis lift. And the body mounts make the most sense. It is level in the front but off 1/2" in the back. I am supposed to start this header install today I will give it a good look.

Thanks 4 the response
