hello,
i have a 72 chevelle. and one of my "300 deluxe" emblems broke in half. is there a way to fix emblems? they dont repop them. so i need help lol

My guess is they were made of "Pot metal" so welding is difficult at best.

Those emblems are die-cast in zinc, and then chrome plated. Once broken, they are VERY tough to repair. It can be done, but unless you spend a fortune, it won't look good at all. You would be much better off to buy some decent used emblems on eBay, unless you might stumble onto some at a swap meet. Keep in mind that pitted emblems are VERY difficult (and therefore expensive) to replate properly too, so search for pretty good emblems. Frankly, many people elect to merely fill in the wholes, and go for the "clean" look.
