..just going to upgrade my intake, and was looking for suggestions..the engine is a 350, modifications inc. bigger cam..600 holley..the car is daily driven, and runs well with the edelbrock #2101 intake...will i find a noticeable difference with a better intake?..such as: edelbrock #3701, #2601, #7501, #7101...also, edelbrock advertises EGR and non-EGR..ummm, could anyone let me know what that means...thanks for the help...

When you say "noticeable difference" I assume you mean seat of the pants feel. You probably wouldn't notice by driving. If in fact it 'runs well' I wouldn't touch it. EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculator) valve (Emmissions equipment on late models). If you want BLING, the Air-Gap with the coating is the way.

If you ever want to run a speadbore carb such as a Rochester quadrajet and you are looking for the performer RPM you will need to go with the 7104 edelbrock,

I would go with a Holley 300-36 and your 600cfm, Holley carb. if you don't have to have all the smog stuff on the intake.

it is a pre-smog, true high-rise intake and for a new one from Summit, the price is right imho...

GREAT old intake!!!

Stock heads? I vote #2101. I do believe, though, you never can go wrong with a Performer RPM.
