behind the passenger seat in the storage area

thanks pizzi man, i knda though so. but do not see any hold downs.

On our '69, the spare stands up behind the passenger seat. There is a vertical bracket that the hold down hooks into. I would imagine that yours would be similar.

The fifth gen has a much larger storage area than the third gen. There is room for a full size tire and then some. I had a fifth in the past and there was a short seat belt (looked like the front belts) mounted there. Slide the spare in and then click the belt to hold it in place. Looked factory, I assume it was.

I thought the spare goes in place of the flat tire!!!!!!
