Allright here we go, first, has anyone ever seen back-up light deletes on a 66, I ask this question cause many years ago, close to 30, I purchase a 66 Malibu for a beater for my father, for the huge sum of 150 bucks, the car when I bought it had a 67 front end, which the previous owner got lucky because it was the same Marina blue as the 66. anyway this car was loaded, p/s, p/b, posi, power windows, factory tach and gauges,tint glass, buckets seats, console, bumper guards, etc. etc. but the one unusal thing was it had red lenses where the back-up lights were suppose to be, which looked alot better(in my opinion) which is why I replace them with white ones when I sold it, for a whopping 450 I believe. They were for sure GM factory pieces, and I have never seen another car so equiped, and in my life I have had at least 125 Chevelles pass thru my hands, (been a Chevelle parts dealer for 31 years now), So anybody seen another set????? Also, while going thru some old paper work, I found an owner card for the 66 SS396 Chevelle I order special, and bought, when I was 18, was wondering if it was still out here, thought I saw it at a Super Chevy show At Maple Grove Raceway in Pa, but never found the owner, It was a stripper, only options were 396-360HP, 370 posi Ran B/S and C/s, which was mainly the reason I bought it, for a whole 2700 bucks, had friends in the dealership, listed for 3400 I belived. Anyhow that's the story, and I sticking to it. Thanks for your time Dave Wiggins P.S.
