I purchased a Painless kit and I'm wondering how I provide protection to the wires going under the carpet to the back of the car?
Is being down in the channel where the ribbon cable was enough protection or should they be in some sort of raceway?

If you can flatten it out ? the factory plastic channel is o.k. with some added protection under the back seat springs.

put it in a roll of plastic wire cover and get some nice thick foam under the carpet.

Maybe some pile carpet if it's still noticeable. Might I recomend green shag?

Anyone else have any ideas.

Get a roll of plastic wire loom and flatten it out with a heat gun. Put this around your wires and you'll be as good as you can get.
