aight yall know ive been having some bad noises and stuff from my 350 and all that JAZZ well ne ways taking it to the mechanic my tach started going nuts and it backfired and died and it.......burned the coil,condenser,pickup coil,module OUT.....all of it..... got it all back together this morning and it was still backfireding threw the carb and all that bull$H!T..... the mechanic said my cam was ate up so......... i get a COMP 270H magnum cam its .470" on both sides and 224* on both sides.
he said itll have a pretty good thump to it and smoke some 5.0z :D its got a edelbrock SP-2P intake on it and a 600 holley on that with about 9.5 comp........ estimations on HP and TQ

desktop dyno says 360 hp and 390 ft lbs. :eek:

gotta love that torque :D

I can believe 390' lbs. but the S.P.2-P. is never going to make 360hp. Everything looks good cept that. For what your doing a Performer will be worth the extra cost. I had that intake for a couple years and I swapped it out for a Performer RPM and man what a difference! That was on a 357, 600cfm, 10:1, pretty much the same as your motor. That intake has the smallest runners I know of, it was designed to "wake up" the low compression smog era engines. Throttle response and torque is great with it though ;)

my bad on that it was 348 hp and 371 ft lbs..... forgot to change the heads when i was playn around with it :D but still thats quite a bit of power :cool:

If thats the case you might check out that extreme energy 268...in my combo it was close to the same power rating but with more torque

Also I'm kinda letting the brain cogs work about a new air gap intake, if I get it I can sell you my performer for a good price, its clean and still looks new, look even better with another clean down and spray some clear over it
