I bought new vinyl for the rear panels in my convertible. I was wondering what I should use to attach the new vinyl to the metal? I'm wire brushing all the surface rust off so It should stick good. Also, Do I need to remove the old cardboard backing off of the metal panels before installing them?
Thanks

I guess this would really be considered the arm rests instead of the rear panels like I put in my post. Sorry

I guess I'll just pick up some spray adhesive from the parts store unless somebody knows something better?

If you do use spray adhesive, use 3M Super Trim Tack Adhesive they have a few choices, but I recommend the 8090.It is the best one they have,or if you have an air compressior and an old paint gun(not gravity fed) you might find a trim shop around you and try to buy a gallon of glue from them, and use the paint gun to spray it that way.
