Hi guys,

I took my 75 Malibu in the shop today to get dual exhaust put on so I cannot look at it but the rubber boot for the cruise control on the drivers inner fender has rotted away. I actually have not tested it cruise but the guy I bought it from said it did not work.

Now in looking at parts for this, I see that the main part everone buys is a transducer either 2 or 3 wire. Does this connect onto that throttle cable at the inner fender inside that boot? And where would I get a new rubber boot.

I am going to Carlisle this weekend and want to pick up any parts if I can.

are you saying that big diaphragm is gone? if so, you need a new one. if no one sells them now, then it'stime to head to the junkyard and find a good one.
the transducer, i believe, is that thing that the speedo cable hooks up to.

Here's some pictures of one I have for my 74 Nova:

I remember the rubber bellows get pulled back to link in what looks like a pull chain clip for a home lamp switch and I believe this is seperate from the big main bellow (which now that I'm thinking it would have to be as this side gets a vacuum source and it has to be sealed).
