On the clips needed to convert a non SS dash to an SS dash one must get the clips to secure the heater control levers to the new SS dash. From what I understand the clips can be obtained from a 1984-89 Monte Carlo directly behind the dash cluster and located on the switch?? Problem is when I go to a salvage yard I do not know what I am looking for. Can somebody give me the size measurements of these clips and possibly a photo of them?

The clips you are referring to provide a place to attach the right-hand side of the heater A/C controls to the dash. The clips slide into the ends of the plastic posts in that location and have a threaded hole in them to accept the screws that hold the controls in place. My reproduction dash came with a set, so somebody is manufacturing them.

Can you give me the SIZE of them, as my repro dash doesn't have them!

They are probably 3/4" square and have a U-shape where they slide over the rectangular posts.

They are only 1 size, take off the headlight switch and there they are, 3 of them.
