has anybody put a huges trans shield on a turbo 400 in a 69 chevelle. it wont fit in my car. what will fit a 69 velle that is sfi certified??

try the csr carbon fibre shield, fits the tranny like a glove and will fit under your floor tunnel.

only thing is you need to grind down a rectangular shaped "boss" on left and right side of tranny and also shave a couple of dimples by the top two tranny/engine mount bolts.

you could always use a blanket
