Year one has them, I've been pondering about changing my 1971 rear bumper to a 1970 and using the LED lights but I'm not sure if all I would need is the LED kit and the bumper.

Rick, like Bryan already mentioned. I thought you were already working with John D for a set of his LED tails?

I'm interested in the LED replacement bulbs. I have a set of $8 bulbs with 12 clear LEDs on each, and they are brighter but only in a tight circle. The light does not fill the whole red brake lens.

Does anyone have a photo of the light output of their better LED tail lights compared to the 1157 incandescent bulb? Something like this?

I don't "do" studio shots - my photo's are real world. This was taken on a bright sunny day. Taillights only. No modifications to your wiring or housings, and can convert back to bulbs in minutes with a "Leatherman" tool!
