.....if I put something on there with a reserve the first bid the reserve goes away? What's up with that?

They meet the reserve price, If you meant the Buy it Now price, that is just the way its set up either buy it now or bid and the buy it opption goes away if you deside to bid.

Ok, case in point I put a vintage illuminated sign on there for $1 with a reserve of $50, if they hit the reserve shouldn't it say "$50" instead of $1?

Because it looks to me as of right now if the auction were to end I'd only get $1.....:confused:

You are correct if the reserve is met the bid should reflect that. It should not be a dollar showing for the bid. You might try to wade through the gauntlet of contacting Ebay to see if there is something wrong. Good Luck

Does anybody have EASY directions on how to place an ad on ebay?

Go to "sell", it'll ask you to log in, then describe the item, then upload pics from your computer, then you will be able to review it before hititng the "list my item" button.

At least this is how it works for all the stuff I've sold, have yet to sell a vehicle, not sure if I want to seeing how it costs like $50 to list and $50 if it sells only for someone to back out of the deal. :mad:
