Hey guys, whats your opinion on selling a motor complete or parting it out? What'll getcha a better price on an average BBC block, heads etc.
nothing special, all just average but good street stuff that would need a rebuild (tired, not broke)

How big? I've had better luck selling the whole engine than individual engine parts.

I'd probably sell it all together. If it doesnt go well you could part it out.

about 18" across and 24" long :D
I want to e-bay it because of our economy being in the toilet, but the thought of shipping it would be out of sight

You can always get more $$$ if the buyer can hear it run.

well, yeah, but that ain't gonna happen....... I pulled the motor because it jumped time (and I was selling the truck it was in) and its on an engine stand.
