Ricks70ss Apr 15th, 07, 8:21 PM Well what a great day!!. The wife ,daughter& grnadson went shopping at I kea. They left early this morning . Didn't get back till after 4:30. WOW theres is a GOD. I spent the day working on the Chevelle. Cleaning out the garage from all the winter crap. Lights boxes of christmas decoration. Snow blower shovels. Nice and clean now. Stocked the fridge. So theres cold ones to relax with. Sun was beating down into the garage. No one to bug me. Nascar on the t.v. Got to actaully get some stuff done on the car. no rushing around. Couple of guys came by on their Harleys. Sat around and shot the brezze for a while. Went back to work on the chevelle. Got it fired up. But I'm whipped. The ride going to have to wait for Monday. But this is a gooooood Day. Then the wife came home and put bugers on the grill. " THE END ":beers:

Derek69SS Apr 15th, 07, 8:49 PM It's spelled "boogers" and they're better deep fried than grilled. ;) :D

Okay, what's the difference between boogers and brocolli?
Kid's won't eat brocolli :p
Congratulations. It sounds like it was a good day in Minnesota. We are still having snow and now the local weather gurus are sayiong a foot or more. At least it doesn't look like Jim Cantori will have to come here. You're in deep doo doo when that happens.

BlueSS454 Apr 15th, 07, 10:29 PM Sounds like the day I had yesterday. No one bothered me to do anything for them, I just stayed in the garage and reassembled the Charger all day, got quite a bit done too! I could have done it again today, but it's been pouring rain all day.
Phil Keller Apr 15th, 07, 11:50 PM After the burgers were gone...and the kids were in bed...the perfect ending to the perfect day...your wife went out and waxed the Chevelle
SS396ELKY Apr 15th, 07, 11:50 PM I couldn't agree with you more "What a Day" NICE... The temps here in KS got up to 67. Gorgeous day... It is supposed to be nice all next week with the exception of Tuesday (rain). I too was cleaning out the garage and checking back ever so often to see what was happening with the Cup race. Although I'd did eat "burgers". I actually got so busy I forgot to eat until really late.
webfoot Apr 16th, 07, 2:22 AM I had a great day at work!!
ssal396 Apr 16th, 07, 9:43 AM Sounds like a GREAT day... I LOVE my family to death, but sometimes you just have to have some time away from them.... A scrambled off to the country on Saturday morning to my buddies cottage for some quality time with my quad :D We ended up riding for about four hours, then did a little :beers: till the weeeeeeeeeee hours, then woke up and went out to breakfast.....
Then as soon as I got home I had to put the quad & the trailer away(in the cold & rain), then I figured it might time for a little cat nap.... Until my wife informed me that my son had a basketball practice scheduled for 3:30, oh well - no rest for the wicked I guess :D
Bowtie-72 Apr 16th, 07, 11:35 AM Wow. Sat I painted my ashtray and glovebox.
I spent most of it outside re-grading some of the backyard, did a little edge work, and then burned a huge amount of old fencing and stumpage. I sat by the fire for the better part of 6 hours just relaxing, then slept in on sunday until about 10:30. I needed it-was a long week.
Ricks70ss Apr 16th, 07, 2:32 PM Well Bryan: Ya might as well do something on the weekends. Ya don't do much during the day. Oh Oh! bet that hurt. Just pullin your chain bud.
