I just tried a 90 bulb in my GTO and it won't stay in the socket..

This is a long shot....

A number of years ago I was working on a '70 Olds 442 convertible--

Try a type 68 bulb.

OK..figured it out...I had to grind the "nubs" on bulbs a bit so they would actually twist in and stay in..damn POS 90 bulbs made in China crap..

Be careful with a 90. It might get too hot and melt the lense.

I believe the courtesy bulb number is 67 or a 631
