Just got home with my 24' black Featherlite enclosed trailer. Looking for some unique Chevy graphics or ideas to make it cool. Pictures?

I have a couple ideas. Sell it and buy a WHITE 28' trailer. You might as well be sitting in an oven while at the track. I don't understand why people would buy a black enclosed trailer. As for the 24', you'll soon run out of room.

There's nothing wrong with a 24' black trailer. Especially a Featherlite. My trailer is 22' and I have plenty of room. A Chevelle is only 16', that leaves 8' to play with. Nothing wrong with black either. All trailers get hot inside, regardless of the color.

Check out places that do the WRAP, just a film thats put on over your trailer. They may have some ideas that won't cost alot and can be changed or removed.
Side note: Keep it generic so as not to attract thieves

I did not buy the trailer to pull a "racecar to the track", I bought the trailer to haul my BLACK 66 chevelle behind my BLACK accented motorhome and/or my BLACK 3500 chevy or my wife's BLACK tahoe. As for the length issue, I think 24' fits just fine.
I think the shiny BLACK paint and the shiny aluminum just plain looks awesome!! (not going to say how crappy I think white looks, cause that wouldn't be nice) So, I think I'll keep my BLACK trailer for now......okay??!:D

I'd like to reinforce what he said. Anything on the outside of the trailer that indicates an expensive car is inside is very attractive to a thief. As much as I was tempted to just put a large chevy bow-tie on the outside, I resisted for this very reason...just something to think about.

I'm also interested in the grahics that you come up with. I've considered buying a trailer (any color) :D for years. It's still on the 'consideration' list, but moving up.

I would like to do several things besides just transport a car. I've seen some very creative ways of using them.

I also second the opinion that you should keep the outside generic as not to attracte un-needed attention. Great suggestion.

I've also seen heat and ac in them.

Good luck and I envy you already.. :hurray:

Looking forward to seeing pics.

No graphics yet, next step is A/C I think. Take a look http://www.leverfamilysite.com/2003_Continental_Cargo_Trailer.htm
By the way the lemon 2006 blue v10 ford has been replaced by ford with a 2007 white diesel:waving:

Hey Bill. What your saying about all trailer get hot inside is right on. But white sure is easy to the touch!! Plus its easier to keep clean. Its enough to keep the car truck & then A trailer clean. I had a black one Holy S***. Yeah it looks great black. But it shows everything. You can alway buy a white trailer. Then go to a place that makes vinyl graphics. And you will be surprised how nice it can look. I had a 26 ft. pulling it with a black dually. Oh it looked Sweet going down the road. People turn there heads. But what a pain in the A**. to keep all that clean. Just my way of thinking. Rick

I think the all black truck and trailer with chrome and polished alum accents would look very cool without any graphics. The "clean" look. I did see an interesting graphic on the rear door of a trailer a few years ago. In small writing it said, " Who know what evil lurks behind closed doors".

I would leave that shinny black trailer alone, no graphics! Maybe a little chevy or harley sticker at the back and that's it.

I wish I had that black trailer  and Ricks black dually, I could deal with the cleaning.

Paint a huge "YUGOspeed Racing" on the side. Instant theft deterrant.

If I can ask, what did you put on the walls? I am shopping for a 24' enclosed trailer myself and want to buy a bare bones model to save money and weight. I only plan to use it occasionally so I just thought about painting the floor.

I own a 28ft black trl and it's really not all that hot on the inside. No air yet but use a big box fan which really helps.

I do not remember the name but top quality (Bear?) outdoor semi gloss whit paint. The ceiling had a headliner already installed.

Just a note, If I had it to do over I would get a 26 foot trailer as I want to put cabinets in the front of the trailer and it will cut down on the space. There is enough room to do it but the extra two feet would have been nice.:waving:

Yes a Tahoe can haul a 28ft trailer. Maybe not loaded with 10k pounds of stuff but with a mild load it can do just fine. Biggest issue is making sure you have the trailer brakes hooked up and working properly.

Brent the one thing my trailer has that IMO is one of the best options to have is a window(tinted of course :)). It makes it great for when I use it to haul quads to the dunes and we want to get out of the weather (if it's crappy). Having the window just seems to make it more usable this type of stuff. You don't feel like you are hanging out in a cave :D

I also vote for no flashy graphics :)

Heres an idea for the graphics, have them done on a magnetic backing so they can be applied and removed at will. Like many others have said a nice trailer with decals that identify the item inside is going to attract the wrong kind of people.

This happened not too long ago as I recall, the story was posted on here. Someone grabbed a fellow car enthusiasts trailer, contents and all, during the night in a parking lot.

I have a 26 footer Vintage Outlaw II and it is white. These trailers are nice. Mine has a 20' awning, diamond plated flooring, floor winch, generator access door, AC Shop lights inner/outer and DC lights too. If I had to get another one, I'd get one with the large access door on the left side. It is hard to squeeze out of the driver side without that door. I might just have to sell mine to get one with the driver's access door.

OK! for graphics, I'd suggest matching your tow vehicle. If you put racing logos and that sort of stuff on your trailer some state laws require you to have a commercial driver's license. Oklahoma is one of those states. Something to think about...

For security reasons I wouldn't "advertise" on the exterior of the trailer. Leave plain or just graphics.

BTW does anybody know the status of the missing Black LS6 car and it's trailer from last year?
