I pulled out the Dana 60 and replaced all bearings and seals and painted the housing and ultralink suspension with por 15.I also installed a new support cover. My next project will be to make a new set of brake lines and get rid of the spaghetti under this car, also the prior owner installed wilwood rear disc brakes but kept the original proportioning valve which is causing slight rear brake drag.I really thought I would have been alot farther ahead by now but although the progress is slow it is starting to come together.

I am going to run the 572 out of my Chevelle this year just to get things dialed in and build a motor for it next year. The tires are 33x19.5x15

The car looks great Vinny. With all that room for tires you should be able to put a lot more power to this car than the Chevelle. There should be a few hundred pounds of weight gone too. All in all they're much better race cars. Way better headers are available and there is more room around the pan. Real pretty car. You might want to get some good slicks when you go to test it as those Sportsman Pros don't bite at all.

Hey Tom,The progress on this car has gone much slower than expected but I want the car right and I keep finding things that the prior owner had put together or finished real sloppy.I plan on running new brake lines and proportioning valve, then I can set in the engine and trans and have a set of 2.125" headers made for it.
Once the headers are done and I get it back I can wire the car and complete the fuel system. Its gettin there but ther is still a ways to go.
Harold,I do not plan on running the sportsmans at the track. This car has huge tubs and will fit a set of 14.5" slicks easily.Stay tuned
