OK, so I have pretty much decided on the 62 series steelies from Wheel Vintiques for my 67 300. I will go 15x7 up front and 15x7 or 15x8 out back.
I am trying now to figure out what size shoes to put on them. I imagine I can change the speedo gear in my Saginaw 3 speed (which hopefully soon becomes a Muncie 4 speed). Is there a whole range of options for whatever tires I pick? Where do you get the gears? Are they hard to swap out? Does anybody do this or do you just live with an incorrect speedo? How do I fix this? I'd rather have the speedo and odometer read correctly. (I have 195/75/14 on now)
