: 1970 EL Camino: how to install body to bumper seal??

I just bought a body to bumper seal for my 1970 El Camino (It is that piece of black flexible material about 6 inches wide that goes across the back of the El Camino.) But since the car did not have this piece when I bought it, I have no idea where and how to install it. Can anyone tell me where it goes and how to fasten it?
Thanks in advance.

I think there's a pinch-welded seam at the end of the bed that has several holes in it. The seal is attached with the same type of clips as the cowl seal. At least that's how it was installed on my 68. Pretty sure your 70 should be the same.

I don't recall having this piece on mine either. I'm not sure if it belongs on a '70 or not. I'll have to check the assembly manual.

Can you describe the clips needed? And how about the other edge? What does it fasten to, and how? I think the car must have come with this as it looks unfinished without it. Thanks again.

I believe the ones on my 72 are a square hole clip along the edge just below the bed before it rolls under to the frame...I'll look later as I'm going to try and shoot some paint on the top tonite... ;)
