I was wondering if there was a way to connect an Ipod to a head unit that isn't already set up for it. Is there a way to possibly go through the CD changer input?(why would you need a changer if you've got an Ipod? :)) The reason for this is that all my pre-amps are being used. I have tried to look online, but there is just so much stuff out there. I know someone out there has done this already, thanks in advance- Eric

they have a small FM-transmitter that plugs in the headphone jack and then transmits to your FM-stereo, cost is about $30.00 at most of the electronic/stereo outlet places.
There is a cable that splits the Ipod out into 2 RCA male jacks so you can plug it into any pair of female RCA connector. It's ~$15

What kind of input do you have on your CD changer?
Here is another solution.

The RCA would work the best, but i need to see if i have an RCA INPUT on the back. If not, i think something like this might be in line..looks like it connects to the back of the head where the CD changer should go(thanks for the link)

I put a Harmon Kardon drive and play in my daughters car and she loves it. Cost with everything was about 150.00. She wanted to keep the stock look and liked the idea of being able to see what's playing and controlling the unit with their controller. If I were to do it from scratch I'd just buy a headunit and be done with it. Pete
