You will need all of these things to do the swap:

1970 Radiator Support (4 headlight holes instead of 2)
1970 Grill
1970 Bumper
1970 Headlight/Fender Extenssions
1970 Front Fenders (1970 had turn lenses in the bottoms of the front fenders-71-72 did not)

It is possible. You will need fenders, core support and bumper which should all bolt up. The most involved is probably the wiring.

You trying to put a 70 clip on a 72 car? If you have an entire clip then it will bolt right on no problem.

Nothing from a 71-72 clip is the same as a 70 or interchanges. The core support is diff, the fenders are diff. Different in that the 70 has the marker lights on the bottom of the fender also where the ext bolts to the fender. The sheetmetal that is welded to the fender is different because the 70 has dual headlamps and the 71-72 has one. Bumpers and brackets diff. Dont forgot all those little brackets that bolt to core support to hold the exts on, grille and plus you need a front valance panel

The only thing will fit from 70 to 72 is the hood, hood hinges ,inner fender wells and battery tray
