I seem to recall a place in Kansas? that makes custom weight springs, that are the height specific.... does anyone know a place like this? thanks..

Yes, it is www.coilsprings.com. You will have to fill out a quote sheet and they will reply.

By your post I see you are in SoCal, this is good for stuff like this since you (we) have tons of choices over the counter. I just did some calling around regarding this issue. I was directed to and contacted a local shop in Santa Ana that will "spec" out your springs and if they can't find production springs that meet your desired specs, they will facilitate the manufacturing of exactly what you want. Here is their website: http://www.deaverspring.com/ I spoke to Gary who told me to just bring my spring in with measurements from the ground to the top fender well and provide what I want the measurement to be with the new springs. Hope this helps.

Thanks you guys... I just put 750 lb 5" springs w/ spacers in the front of my malibu, and I LOVE IT!!! its so tight... I have a small block, anywho, I want to stiffen up the back now too... thanks again. lance

does anyone know what the rate of the rear springs are for stock 66's... ?

Stock are ~120#, but with your 750# fronts you'll want a ~175# rear.
